Do you like bubbles?

I thought so. Everyone likes bubbles!

Have you ever tried catching some?

Maisie Jumble likes bubbles and she wanted to catch some

too.

Would you like to hear her story?

Right.

Then listen carefully and I will begin.

One day Maise was looking out of the window when she saw ……..

Yes! Lots of bubbles! Blue bubbles, Red bubbles, Yellow bubbles, Green bubbles.

'Look at all those bubbles,' said Maisie

'I must go and catch some.'

So Maisie ran into the garden but, oh dear. The bubbles had disappeared.

'Where have the bubbles gone?' Said Maisie. 'I must go and catch some.'

Maisie went down the lane and found Harry Hand

'Have you seen some bubbles?' asked Maisie

'No,' said Harry, 'I haven't seen any bubbles'.

Maisie went down the lane and met Lilly Jumble

'Have you seen some bubbles?' asked Maisie.

'No,' said Lilly I haven't seen any bubbles.'

So Maisie walked further along the lane and

met Freddie Jumble.

'Have you seen some bubbles?' asked Maisie.

'No,' said Freddie, 'But I will help you to find some.'

Maisie sat down with Freddie.

'Let's think where we have seen bubbles,' said Freddie.

'That may help us to find them.'

Can you help Freddie and Maisie? Where do you think they may have seen

bubbles before ?

'That is so,' said Freddie. 'Lets go and find someone washing up.'

Freddie and Maisie found Billie Brush and Gilly Glove washing up.

'But there are no bubbles,' said Freddie .

Then Gilly added some washing-up liquid.

What do you think happened?

Wow! What a lot of bubbles!!

What is Gilly Glove doing to

make more bubbles?

'The bubbles in the garden were red and green and blue and lots of colours,' said

Maisie.

'Why do you think these bubbles are white?'

'I don't know,' said Freddie. 'Do bubbles change colour ?'

How can we find out?

' We could take them into the garden,' said Gilly.

So that is what they did.
